Available Positions

1) SAHHC Caregiver

About the Role:

As a SAHHC Caregiver you will work under the direction of the Client Care Manager and under the general guidance of the Participant. As a Caregiver you are responsible for providing supportive care to the participating client and help them with the instrumental activities of daily living, allowing them to remain in their residence and maintain as much independence as possible.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Must meet minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI background check.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality.

  • Must satisfactorily complete Sheltering Arms Home Care Competency and Skill exam.

  • Must be able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision.

  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and document services provided.

  • Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity.

2) Driver

About the Role:

Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each service based on road and traffic conditions. Ultimately, you will help us increase client satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Driver

  • A valid driver’s license

  • A clean driving record

  • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)

  • Familiarity with GPS devices

  • Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

  • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage

  • Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts

  • A polite and professional disposition

  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

  • A high school diploma
